The Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac (www.fairmont.com/frontenac) is the host site for the meeting. This is a spectacular classic resort, located in the heart of old Quebec City, rising high above the St. Lawrence River. The property has all of the amenities that you would expect from a Fairmont property, including great dining opportunities, and a wonderful spa.A block of rooms has been reserved at $339/night (plus 16.5% taxes). When making you hotel reservation, please be sure to mention that you are part of the MOAC/Midwest Ocular Angiography Conference group. As noted above, the group rate is $339/night plus taxes. I encourage you to make your hotel reservations as soon as you register for the meeting, as our block of rooms will be held only until June 29, 2012. In contrast to the meeting site last year, the meeting this year will be held in the heart of a vibrant old city, and you can walk virtually anywhere within the walled city. Therefore, there is no need for a car once you are at the Frontenac.
Please keep in mind that our meeting dates coincide precisely with the annual Les Fetes de la Nouvelle France. The festival celebrates how Quebec City was approximately 200 years ago.
