Pre-meeting Recreation
For those of you who are interested, the MOAC is holding a block of rooms at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu (www.fairmont.com/richelieu), from Saturday, July 28th, through Wednesday, August 1st. The Richelieu is located approximately two hours to the northeast of Quebec City, set along the St. Lawrence River, where the mountains meet the sea. The region is known as Charlevoix, and can be reached either by driving or via exquisite private train service (see below). Virtually unlimited outdoor activities, and world-class whale watching await you.The Richelieu is another historic classic resort, offering the charm of a countryside inn, though with world-class sophistication. The block of rooms set aside for the MOAC start at $229/night Canadian. Once our block is gone, you will need to work with the resort to secure rooms, at the available rate.
